Below is Part 3 of a series of diary notes and letters home from Michael J. Bovre, the 174th's Company Clerk during the company's move from Fort Benning, Georgia to Vietnam. This last letter is his first after arriving in Vietnam, at a place called "Lane."
At the bottom of this letter is a picture of Mike Bovre in Qui Nhon, taking advantage of the local transportation--a Vietnamese tricycle pedicab. (Who doesn't remember THOSE?)
