POEMS OF A CREWCHIEF

In 1971, SP4 Mel Lutgring was flying as a crewchief in the 174th Assault Helicopter Company. Mel crewed Witchdoctor 650, the 174th AHC maintenance officer's UH-1H helicopter. Mel has written several original poems about Vietnam, helicopters, and aviation in general. They are provided here for your enjoyment. Mel has also provided other poems that he has not personally written, and they are also provided here as well, but are separated from those personally penned by Mel.
