The GRIM REAPER flies again!
Below are several photos of a UH-1 radio controlled (RC) model that Daniel Preece has built. Dan, who lives in England and is a "helicopter engineer," found our website and has modeled his flying Huey gunship after Shark 540, the "Grim Reaper." The model is actually a UH-1B model, but looks pretty good dressed out in Shark colors. Note that Dan has represented realism in various forms; the left windshield has the framing unpainted, as did many aircraft after windshields were replaced after receiving battle-damage, before the crews could repaint the frames. Dan has been advised that the skids are not painted red. I'm sure he'll fix that soon. Next will be the weapons systems, right Dan? Good job on your model Dan. Click HERE to e-mail Daniel.
